Margin Advice

So i am in a position on Polo. I bought bitshares at 6080 with 12 bitcoin worth on margin with 7 of my own bitcoin. It has clearly gone down and I am sitting at -2 bitcoin if I were to close my position. I think lending rates are getting expensive so I want to fund my account with 5 bitcoin.

Will this mean that the bitshares are then 'mine' Technically I can then wait for it to recover before selling which I think it will with bitcoin after the form.

Am I missing anything or making any errors? Appreciate any help/insight. Loans were 2 days due to renew tomorrow morning.
