Tax question - coin base

Hi y'all, If I bought 20k of BTC on coinbase, sent it to the exchanges and made money, then sent back 20k of BTC to coinbase and withdrew it to my bank account, do I have to pay taxes on it? No right? Because I didn't technically "earn" any fiat money?
