I just looked at my portfolio and quite literally every single coin is down for the past couple days. On cyptomarkets, only 14 of the top 100 coins sorted by market cap are up while the rest are down, some to a dismal level. On top of that bitcoin crashed the hardest it has ever recently last night which suspiciously coincided with ETH getting a hair away from the flippening. All this leads me to believe that ETH is probably to blame in some part and causes me to wonder what the state of alt coins will be if ETH doesn't slow down. I'd kept my eye on my crypto coin of choice all day long waiting for a spike then dip. I sell a little above my buying price of 2 days prior. It looks to be setting up for a ride upwards so I buy a little below my original buying price. I hit the buy button, it goes through, and literally 2 seconds later the price magically jumps down by 10%. I've recently begun trading on Poloniex and am tracking my trades in my own local DB to analyze my trading strategy. I keep running into issues because I seem to (somewhat frequently) have orders just "disappear" from Poloniex, or only fill partially. I submit almost all of my orders via the API, and I've begun logging the response from Poloniex. So after hearing about all the shit poloniex puts people withdrawing through I wanted to withdraw to the exchange I was going to try out, bittrex. I send 0.2 ETH to make sure my wallet worked properly. Was a little bit laggy but everything went fine with no problems showing. I wait 5 minutes and it shows up on an eth blockchain explorer and on bittrex. I stupidly decide to go ahead and send 5 more (most of my funds) to the same address. I get the same completed message and everything looks okay. So I wait a few minutes, then go to check etherscan.io, absolutely nothing. The wallet shows nothing and neither does the txid I was given, but the withdraw says completed and their FAQ says that means it's sent. Plenty of other withdraws from their address have gone through fine as observable from etherscan.io. I put together an interactive chart that shows logarithmic growth for various coins. Quick explanation and tips: The chart starts off by showing the prices of all coins relative to their price today. You can see that on the right axis. The left axis is the inverse of the right axis, to aid in reading the chart. You can click on any date on the chart to re-calibrate it so that it anchors to that date. For example, if I click on January 1st, 2017, I can see how all the coins performed up to that point and I can also see how they've performed since that point. It seems that it might circumvent withdrawal limits to an extent.
