So, while getting familiar with tons of different coins I came across blackmooncrypto. Their project is just amazing and they have 10% left of their coin initial offering before they hit the 30 mil hard cap. It started this morning, you might have an hour or two left before this thing is off the market. If you wanna check it out or stack on some coins at 1$ each. Use my ref link : http://ift.tt/2wZHBeA 1% for me... which isnt much but Ill be glad if I can stack on extra token or two or if you would like visit their direct link and register for the ICO... no time left. Check this out. Solid team. This is going to be an amazing coin and its value will go up fast. http://ift.tt/2u0LS1h submitted by /u/GoodCryptoNews [link] [comments] Read More

DNT isn't traded on many of the larger platforms. But over the past week the trading volume is ridiculously low. Especially for a crypto that has quite a few supporters. Today JPMorgan Chase chief executive Jamie Dimon doubled down on his past criticisms of bitcoin, declaring it a "fraud" and saying he would fire any trader known to be trading the cryptocurrency. Along with China rumors continue to create small drops as the market begins to arise. This Double Down from Mr. Dimon being his remarks in 2015 that Bitcoin is a bubble that is about to burst, when it hit 400$. Also saying there is no way that Cryptocurrency will survive. In March of this year though, JPMorgan along with other big businesses created a version of Ethereum known as Quorum that the bank has been using in tests to move money between JPMorgan branches in different countries. The interesting thing about spreading unconfirmed news or crying wolf, is the impact is has on the markets. When fear circulates throughout the ecosystem, weak and uneducated hands are scared into action. They begin selling tokens. A panic ensues. More weak hands sell, and the market sees a tempor...

Many 'experts' have been trying to estimate the potential price of Bitcoin in say 10-15 years, based on certain calculations. Although these estimates vary wildly, the large majority are between $100,000 and $1,000,000, so we have at least some kind of idea how much a Bitcoin could potentially be worth. I've hardly seen (very) long term price predictions for platforms like Ethereum, NEO and Lisk. I guess that's partly because they are newer projects, but mainly because they aren't meant to be currencies, so that it's harder to estimate potential future prices by calculations. I'd like to hear your educated guess on what the price of one Ether, NEO or Lisk could be in 10-15 years. Assume the most successful platform of the three. I know it depends on many many factors, but right now I have zero clue. None. I mean, no idea if $20k is unreachable in even the best case scenario. submitted by /u/ombudsman1 [link] [comments] Read More

I think it would be a healthy move to have more objectivity in this sub. Some people like to talk casually without backing up their claims, while others seek to make an educated guess based on evidence. So, I'm relatively new to crypto, and much to my delight I've actually started making some money. Nothing earth-shattering, but even a few thousand dollars over and above what I earn at my day-job is pretty nice. I never really made any money trading stocks. But now I'm wondering about something else. I continually encounter warnings from investors online who say "don't leave your money on exchanges". If you're making any serious money trading, then aren't you trading large amounts of currencies? I mean, I totally get the cold storage thing, and I move coins back and forth. But I was wondering if some people could tell me what kind of value amounts you (or your friend) are keeping on the exchanges? I use a few so I'm somewhat diversified. But I'm figuring if I decide to "go big" on a buy, it must be more-or-less safe? If big investors were getting ripped off left and right then I figure we'd be reading about it pretty regularly....

As a thought experiment, let’s assume all the recent rumors about Chinese regulation are true. What can we infer about how events will play out in the Middle Kingdom? PBOC Will Ban Private Exchanges China will ban private exchanges from trading against CNY. It’s inevitable. PBOC has to maintain control of the value of the Yuan. The Chinese economy is currently almost entirely dependent on their export market. This market is maintained by keeping the Yuan low, which increases international dependence on Chinese exports. Current crypto-exchanges undermine that control and allow money to flow out of the country. PBOC Will Create A People’s Coin Exchange (PCE) You can’t just shut things down without offering an alternative. Shutting down private exchanges will not stop the masses from trading in cyptocurrency, only drive them to operate in the dark, creating an unregulated black market. China already has immense problems with tax evasion. Tax evasion is rampant, and so taxes are kep...
I'm new to trading, and have been observing the distribution of orders in the order book for various currencies. I noticed that very often there are one or two (relatively) huge sell orders floating just underneath the market price. Yet in most cases, when the market price moves down, these orders seem to get cancelled and moved down to a lower price. example My guess is that this is a big player trying to buy at the lowest price, but I'm curious if anyone else has a deeper insight into the workings of this. submitted by /u/CityMonk [link] [comments] Read More

Uhh... so I check out Okcash at the begining of the month, and their website looked like the scamiest shizzz I've ever come across. Apparently they have some deals with gaming, are doing a marketing blitz and trying to move into gaming tournaments; but I didn't even see a white paper.
