Multiple charts without blowing up computer

Having multiple coinigy windows open makes my computer slow and loud (fans go berserk).

I'm on a macbook pro with 2.7ghz i7 and 16gb ram.

MT4 doesn't seem to work on mac. Anyone have any suggestions?
