LINK has lost ~50% value, any ideas why?

Titular.

I have a minor stake (~$500 USD) in LINK, and was up somewhat significantly a bit over a week ago, but as of today it's almost down 50%.

I've tried finding news, but nothing really out there, it just seems like a massive sell-off. CEO is due to speak at a conference in the near future, so I don't think it's anything malicious/foul-play.
