Exchanges and western union

Hey folks. The short story is my bank doesn't send wire transfers (simple bank). But I'm trying to buy usdt with USD. I'm looking at kraken and tether.to which allows wire transfers to find with USD then exchanges from usd-usdt.

However with all the bank confirmations and my zero experience with wiring money and Western Union I'm skeptical that it will work coming through a third party instead of my bank account.

Has anyone funded an exchange account with a third party money wire? Any advice?
