Long term invest

I convinced my brother that crypto is a good investment if he has some spare money. He has.

He want to invest around 2k for each of his three children for later when they are 18 (10+ years) - good idea in my eyes. Could mean university and own car for all of them or just 3k or nothing :)

What would be a good portfolio according to present knowledge? 50/50 BTC and ETH?
