Beginner question: Where should​ I put my first investment, ETH or BTC?

Hello there, I am planning to enter the Crypto market by investing $1200 as my first, where do you think should I invest right now? Normally I would choose Btc but Eth has been on a decline for more that a month now unlike Btc which is rising up slowly again? To a beginner like me, it looks like Eth will have a rebound this coming month but what do I know I am a beginner.
