Safest place to hold ZRX and XRP?

So I have heavily invested into both ZRX and XRP, I put about 1 BTC in each, but I have both coins sitting on an exchange (poloniex) and I have been hearing sketchy stuff about the site, and just bad things about using exchanges as wallets and wanted to know if there is a place I can hold both of these safely, or if ZRX and can be held on the Nano Ledger S?
