Impact on current Coins/Tokens as new ICO's enter markets

I've been thinking quite a bit a about this lately as dozens and dozens of new ICOs flood our beloved crypto markets... how do people see this impacting the currently trades coins prices/outlook especially those in the top 50-100 (from a trading or investing perspective)?

Does this potentially handicap the huge runs of coins as more and more enter market and there's simply too many choices? Does it make a difference at all, if so why?

Yes the market cap collectively grows as more attention turns to crypto, however would love to get people's thoughts as to the positive/negative/impartial thoughts on how all these new coins affects existing coins and the impact it could have on their future prices....
