Spoiler: in 3 years only Bitcoin and Ether will have any value

In 3 years only Bitcoin, Ether, and ICO-tokens (on throws Bitcoin or Ethereum) will have value.

All other coins (like Dash, Monero, Zcash, etc.) will need to implement its unique features as a sidechain to Bitcoin, and the currency must be Bitcoin. Or the coin needs to be a token on Ethereum with smart contracts benefiting the holders.

Coins that stay on their own chain will go to 0$. Separate chains have been good for experimentation while side chains were not possible, so the work is not wasted, it just needs to be ported.
