Gemini exchange wont verify users

I have been facing an issue that i realized many others are also facing and it seems the only time anything is done about it is when a reddit post gets attention

i have been waiting since late march to get my account verified, after providing all necessary documents, repeatedly emailing and calling to no avail i have begun to lose hope.

has anyone had any similar experience and/or reached a solution to this problem?
