exchange site !

What's up reddit users I know you've probably seen this question a lot, but I need answers on this. So I already have a exchange website I use (bittrex) but it doesn't have coins that I plan to look into, im looking for a exchange site that has all recent coins that are new and wanted to invest in them when they are fresh. Anyone got any good ideas on where I can find a exchange site like that. Thanks! submitted by /u/mil1255 [link] [comments] Read More

Should BTC have a place in my portfolio?

Hello traders and hodlers, I'm creating a long-term portfolio with the intention of hodl'ing all coins within. I have a little more research to do before finalising it, but essentially I really align with and support the projects behind each of the coins I've chosen and foresee a possibility they could each go big. Apart from Bitcoin. I KNOW that it's going to the moon right now. I KNOW that it's becoming known as a 'gold standard' crypto and I don't see it ever going away. I support what it represents as the first big crypto, but I don't find it as exciting as the other projects I'm wanting to invest in. Not putting 20% of my portfolio into BTC means I can put more into the others, but would excluding BTC from my portfolio be a terrible idea from an investment point of view? 20% - Bitcoin | 20% - Ether | 15% - IOTA | 15% - Maidsafe | 10% - Mysterium | 10% - OmiseGo | 10% - Golem EDIT: Forgot to add the portfolio headdesk submitted by ...

What do new cryptos that offer ICOs, use it for?

Trying to wrap my head around this, for example: http://ift.tt/2sfvnZs Bancor raised 396,720 ETH, is that used to fund the development or to give a determined value of the coin when it is initiated? submitted by /u/congalines [link] [comments] Read More

Bitshares.com problems with "insufficient funds"

So i went to invest in Yoyow for the initial spike, and created a new account on bitshares.com. Once i transferred my money in i saw that it was impossible for me to withdraw the 0.0201 BTC because the fee to withdraw was .022 BTC. i worried for a while but i decided that it must just be a bug. So i bought YOYOW anyway, and when i try to trade it back for BTC/BTS or any other ones, it comes up with "insufficient funds" next to the fee (no price on the fee, just insufficient funds). Am i missing something? i'm used to trading on Polo/Bittrex.. submitted by /u/Im_from_around_here [link] [comments] Read More

Do you have rules for diversifying and how have they gone for you?

I'm currently holding LTC (35%), BTC (22%), XRP (20%), ETH (8%) and OMG (15%). There's no real rhyme or reason to this, other than I like/believe in the things which I have bought. From an investment perspective, I'm interested in diversifying and keen to hear your rules or what informs the decisions you made. I read somewhere a guy just maintains a portfolio pro rata to the market cap of the top 10 currencies (by market cap), and adjusts each day accordingly (i.e. if Btc made up 50% of the top 10 market cap, his portfolio would be 50% bitcoin). Is this a good idea, logically? submitted by /u/matt_nz_24 [link] [comments] Read More

I own ETH, XMR, OMG, IOTA, LTC, NEO and I just checked them. 2 hours ago, all of them fell about 3 percent, at the same time. Why would that happen?

Apparently I don't understand how these markets work, as it seems incredibly coincidental to me that they same action was taken on all of these coins at the same time to make them do the same thing. I'm sure the same thing happened to more coins. Can someone explain to me why this happens? Is some whale invested in all of these and decided to pull their money out of everything simultaneously? submitted by /u/house_nation [link] [comments] Read More

Any thoughts on Altcoin Exchange?

My friend sent me a link to these guys. They're creating a new altcoin exchange, which seems cool to me since I don't like most of the current ones on the market (outside of Bittrex - I'll trade on Bittrex if I have the choice 10 times out of 10) AND they're promising ACTUAL customer support (looking at you poloniex >.>). I didn't know if anyone had any information on these guys or if anybody else has heard of them already. You can sign up for early access with your email (which I did), but I obviously don't want to put my coins on there if it's some sort of elaborate scam or something once they launch. I mean, if they're good on what they say, this looks to be quite the nice experience. Link to website: http://ift.tt/2gvzTiR submitted by /u/Alex_Ogloza [link] [comments] Read More
